A Legacy of Revival

Annual Healing Streams
(Shifa ki Nadian)

In 2013, acting strictly on the Word of God, the ministry organized its first mega crusade titled "Healing Streams". Entirely self-funded by the local church, thousands miraculously gathered. Attendees were delivered from generational curses and debilitating diseases, leading to mass baptisms.

Following this massive success, "Healing Streams" became an annual two-day mega-event up until 2019, hosted in massive commercial venues like the Empire and Margalla Grande Marquees. The altars were continuously filled with profound testimonies of salvation, miraculous healing, and deliverance.

Our Origins

The Founder's Journey: A Story of Grace

The seeds of this ministry were planted in the heart of its Chairman, Pastor Qammer Chand, through a profound personal encounter with God.

On Christmas Eve, December 24, 1992, as a young man participating in a church play, Pastor Qammer was cast in the role of the Prodigal Son. What began as a dramatic performance transformed into a divine visitation. Touched deeply by the Spirit of God, his acting turned into genuine weeping, leading to a spiritual breakthrough that forever changed the trajectory of his life. That very night, he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ.

His spiritual growth accelerated rapidly. On January 9, 1993, during a nighttime prayer meeting in a small village, he received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, accompanied by the biblical evidence of speaking in tongues. Shortly after, on February 21, 1993, he took water baptism. Immersing himself in the Word of God day and night, it became clear through divine revelation and the affirmation of local believers that God had set him apart for full-time ministry.

Theological Foundation & Early Ministry

Answering the call to be equipped for service, Pastor Qammer enrolled in FGA Bible College in Lahore in August 1994. During his two years of formal theological education, he actively ministered and preached the Gospel across various villages in Punjab.

Upon completing his diploma, God clearly directed him to relocate to Islamabad, the capital city, to serve in ministry. For several years, he faithfully served alongside different pastors and men of God, absorbing wisdom and preparing for the distinct vision God had for him.

The Birth of Glorious Ministries of Jesus

The pivotal moment for the ministry occurred at midnight on June 15, 2012. While Pastor Qammer and his wife, Mrs. Najma Qammer, were bowed down in fervent prayer, the presence of God filled the room. God spoke directly to Mrs. Najma, revealing the name "Glorious Ministries of Jesus." They were instructed that this would be the platform from which they would operate.

From that moment forward, the couple experienced an unceasing communion with the Spirit of God. God promised them: "Through you, I will do great works, and you will be a witness to my power and my Glory." True to His word, 2012 marked a year of immense spiritual harvest. In 2014, the ministry was officially formalized and registered under the Societies Registration Act of Pakistan.

Statement of Faith

Glorious Ministries of Jesus operates with a broad, evangelical heart, welcoming partnership with the global body of Christ. The ministry holds to the historic Christian faith, believing in:

The Trinity

One God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Salvation

That justification and salvation are by grace through faith in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ.

The Word of God

The divine inspiration and absolute authority of the Bible.

The present, empowering ministry of the Holy Spirit, who equips believers to live holy lives and operate in spiritual gifts to witness to the nations.

Pastoral Care (2020-Present)

Grassroots Ministry

With the onset of the global COVID-19 pandemic, large-scale crusades were temporarily paused. The ministry pivoted to prioritize deep, localized pastoral care.

Today, the church actively shepherds 30 dedicated families in New Iqbal Town, Christian Colony, Islamabad. This congregation is primarily composed of daily wage earners and sanitation workers—some of the most marginalized, yet spiritually hungry, demographics in Pakistan.

Operating with profound resourcefulness, the church rents a local hall strictly for Sunday services and special events, while mid-week Bible studies and Sunday School programs are hosted in the homes of church members.

Simultaneously, the ministry established a strategic presence in Punjab, led by Evangelist Suleman Shehzad, connecting the vision with the historic heart of Pakistan's Christian population.

Humanitarian Outreach

Glorious Ministries of Jesus recognizes the biblical mandate to care for the vulnerable. Operating in strategic partnership with the Barkat Global Peace Church and Welfare Society (where Pastor Qammer serves as Vice Chairman), the ministry executes large-scale humanitarian relief.

  • Food Security: Distributed bulk food and daily rations to over 800 needy families.
  • Widow Support: Currently executing an Easter relief initiative providing targeted rations to over 200 widows.
  • Future Vision: The ministry is laying the groundwork for establishing a dedicated orphanage to care for vulnerable children.
